The burn feelings of eyes, blurred vision, headache, weary and etc are the common symptoms of the workers in front of computers. Question comes that how shall we protect our eyesight in front of computer?
1. Your monitor should set to display normal sized letters and minimize twinkling situations, control illumination and clair-obscure. Characters displayed should be clear and stable, the monitor could minimize twinkling situations, control illumination and clair-obscure,besides,the monitor itself could be turned and inclined.
2. Interior illumination should make use of lamplight, optical line should not reflex on the salt screen and the illumination should be darker than normal illumination. Try to use a 60W light bulb in a small room or remove half of the lights on the ceiling. Adjust the brightness of the display screen, the brightness should be 3—4 times as bright as the room; then adjust the clair-obscure, the characters on the salt screen should be 5—10 times brighter than grounding.
3. Set the documents you want to read as high and far as the salt screen, then you don’t have to move focus eagerly between the two objects.
4. Note that you should blink from time to time. When you stare at a monitor for about one or two minutes, you may forget to blink, before you sit to work, you should exercise blinking for about one minute. Every time when you work one hour in front of the monitor, you should rest for 10—15 minutes.
